Video Replay of Dharna by Bank Retirees - July 19th, 2013 at Jantar Mantar ( Delhi )

As announced about a fortnight back, United Forum of Bank Retirees Organisations organized a Demands Day on 19th July, 2013 at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.   It was a successful Dharna and Demonstration as about 500 bank retirees participated with lot of enthusiasm in the said dharna.    AllBankingSolutions.com too was represented by Rajesh Goyal at the Dharna and the speeches of all the speakers were video graphed and are now presented below for the benefit of the retirees who could not attend the meet in person.   The reports indicate that it was the first time that retirees have shown unity and organised Dharna and Demonstration in such large number.    Major Demands of the Retirees are as follows:-

(a) Revision of Pension on the lines of Central / State Government Pensioners;

(b) Uniform dearness Relief without any discrimination

(c) Pension to left over bankers;

(d) Medical Facilities

(e) Prompt implementation of the judgements of Hon'ble High Courts / Supreme Court
